    The S & D Story

    …began in 2009 when two young men saw themselves bittten by the recession bug. Instead of succumbing to their fate, they used free enterprise to remedy their situation. As a fluke they decided to post an add online for moving services. To their surprise it caught on like wild fire, people loved their hard work and their professionalism. They decided to take it seriously , but needed more than just being nice to base their business around. It was then that Sheik & Dave (S&D), decided to embark on their journey to entrepreneurialism and S&D Moving Co. was born.

    Sheik & Dave set out to create a formula to help mitigate some of the stress clients feel when their move date is approaching. The formula consisted of a series of systems with checks and balances to ensure they are able to achieve the same outcome every single time (a completely satisfied customer). Sheik & Dave began to focus their efforts on creating a logo, tag line, branding, marketing and an attire that exuded professionalism , the kind of professionalism clients would come to expect when dealing with S&D Moving Co.

    Meet The S & D Founders

    Sheik
    Managing Partner
    Sheik has a Bachelors in Management Information Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He is the co-owner of S&D Moving Co. He was born and raised in Manhattan and currently resides in the Bronx.He is the other half of S&D Moving Co. He was born and raised in NYC and currently resides in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. He has also received intensive training and a certificate in small business development from Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO). When he’s not assisting customers in their new beginnings, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to community by helping local youth.
    David
    Managing Partner
    David is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Economics (MBE) in Global Business and Finance from CUNY-Brooklyn College. He holds a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration from the State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo.He is the other half of S&D Moving Co. He was born and raised in NYC and currently resides in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. He has also received intensive training and a certificate in small business development from Workshop in Business Opportunities (WIBO). When he’s not assisting customers in their new beginnings, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to community by helping local youth.
